able to employ two to four students for up to four months

Administrative Coordinator – Tobacco Research Program
Term: Part-time (0.5FTE), (1 year with possibility of renewal)
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
We have an opportunity for a dynamic and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our Tobacco Research Team. Reporting to the Manager of Research, you will provide daily support for team members working on research projects and/or knowledge exchange initiatives in the field of tobacco control and women’s health. Your ability to multi-task will help you successfully coordinate administrative aspects of multiple projects including event/logistical planning, report preparation, filing, sourcing research materials, meeting preparation and follow-up. As a strong communicator, you will respond to requests for project information and resources in a courteous, professional manner. Your ability to prioritize workload and work under time pressures will help this highly motivated team meet multiple deliverables/deadlines.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and/or Business Administration, plus administrative experience in a research environment. You bring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to your work and are proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet applications. The ideal candidate demonstrates an interest in tobacco control and/or women’s health.
Preference will be given to candidates who would be amenable to working 1/2 days, Monday – Friday.
