The BCCEWH offers education and training opportunities at several levels. We encourage interested students and community partners to consider how they could learn about women’s health and gender and health at the BCCEWH. Through partnerships with several other training initiatives, the BCCEWH is also able to foster training and education both in specific content areas such as women and addictions or women and health services as well as research practices such as community-based research, gender-based diversity analysis and transdisciplinary research.
Intersections of Mental Health Perspectives in Addictions Research Training (IMPART)
Impart is a multidisciplinary research training program designed to equip researchers to conduct gender and sex-based analyses in addictions research. The BC Centre of Excellence has partnered with the University of British Columbia and BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre to implement this unique program.
If you are interested in these opportunities, please contact us.
