Quitlines
Quitlines offer free telephone support from trained specialists who can help develop a personal quit plan or provide counselling to family and friends of smokers. They can also answer any questions you may have and locate self-help materials and other quit smoking support in your community. A list of quitlines by province can be found at on the Health Canada website. They have tailored protocols for pregnant women.

They have prepared a training video, booklet of information and strategies and handouts for providers to assist pregnant women quit smoking.

This is an online tobacco control education tool sponsored by the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU).
